addington.net now a Hub for Essential Services to the Local Community

posted on 02 April 2012

addington.net is ready to provide PC power and guidance to those who haven't got easy access to a computer to create an account on Addington TimeBank, and continue to use the TimeBank web site.

Those who are interested in swapping their skills and talents with others will first need to set up an account on Addington TimeBank web site or drop into addington.net for help to do this. Use of the TimeBank web site, apart from account set up, will be charged at our normal Internet rates.

The Supervisor at addington.net, Coll Harvey, has just become co-editor of our monthly community newspaper, The Addington Times. The newspaper is set up with the Microsoft programme Publisher on addington.net computers, then sent out for the print run.

Coll is also the administrator of the Addington TimeBank web site and involved in its gardening group.
